We found love in a hopeless place

Every morning, on the way to dropping the my daughter to school, I witness something beautiful. I pass a father and son waiting for the bus together.  Sounds ordinary, but it's not. The boy is around eight and the dad is probably not much older than me. In my brief observance every morning I often see them with their heads bent together in earnest conversation. Sometimes the dad is still in his pajamas, but he's always out there and he seems to clearly enjoy these moments with his son. Sometimes they are tossing a football back and forth. Sometimes its snowing and they are catching snowflakes on their tongues and making snowballs. Sometimes they box or race each other from one signpost to another. They are often laughing when I pass them. Every single time I see them I smile. I love seeing parents enjoy their children, and seeing a dad and son so enjoy each others company in the little snapshot I get each morning is inspiring. So, thanks Mr. Dad and Mr. Son, you rock.

I love this! You can bet your pancakes that that little boy will be a great father himself one day!
